Feel Good In Your Body.

A gentle reminder to return to Your Mat.

There is something special about unrolling your yoga mat. It makes a statement that you are ready to begin. No matter how busy you are, how heavy you feel, or how overwhelming your day has been. The mat is there for you, waiting for your return to practice.

Now, let go of the idea that this has to be something complicated or perfect. This is about creating a special moment to be present with yourself.

A moment to breathe.
A moment to move.
A moment to feel at home in your body.

Let Your Body Move, Let Your Mind Be Present.

When you roll out the mat, pause.
Take a deep breath.
Let your body do some yoga.

Stretch and release the tension you have been carrying. Stretch and make room for some refreshing and uplifting energy. Stretch because you know it feels right, your body deserves it, your soul craves it.

Let each movement affirm to you,  “I am here.”
Let each breath remind you, “I am enough.”

And remember, you don’t have to do this – you want to. Because feeling good is the reason we practice.

Feel Good in Who You Are

Yoga is not just about flexibility or strength. It’s about presence. It’s about tuning into yourself and noticing how your body feels, moment by moment, without judgment.

Allow yourself to feel good in your body.
Allow yourself to feel at home in who you are.

With every inhale, your energy lifts.
With every exhale, you let go of what is not necessary.

You flow effortlessly from one breath to another, and in that flow, you feel lighter.
You shake off that heavy feeling of the day.  And you reconnect with the better version of yourself.

Breathe, Move, Feel Good

Because –
You are lifted.
You are energized.
You are grounded.
And it all began with a deep breath,
and a few simple stretches.

Yoga doesn’t have to be complicated.
It just has to be a moment for yourself.
A gentle return to connect with who you are, over and over again.

An Invitation to Reflect & Reconnect

After your next yoga practice, whether it’s a 5-minute stretch or a full flow, I invite you to pause.

Take a moment.

Close your eyes and ask yourself:

    • What changes do I feel in my body?

    • What thoughts or tension did I release?

    • How do I feel now, compared to when I began?

Notice and breathe.

Remind yourself:
You are always just one breath away from feeling good in your body again.

What is a wellness journey and why does it matter?

A wellness journey is an active transformational life pursuit for a healthy lifestyle.

Think about how you are living your life. Are you self-driven and goal-orientated to achieve your dreams or are you just going with the flow and waiting to see what life has to offer you?

Well, living in between the chase for an achievement and then resting to observe the flow of life is a sweet spot. As chasing requires energy and resting restores the energy, it is a good way to find balance in your life which is necessary for a wellness journey.

A wellness journey focuses on the choices and activities that build the habits leading to optimal holistic health. Maintaining those habits with a balance while considering the different areas of your life is quite challenging. There are multiple areas, known as the dimensions of wellness and they include your physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, occupational, and financial.

Actively and consciously transforming your life within 8 dimensions is a lot to keep up with, especially if you are new to the idea. So @ Teylored, we have grouped them into categories of the mind body, and soul to simplify our efforts for tracking goals and objectives.

The mind category:

The intellectual dimension is about the aspects of your well-being related to your mental health and growth, through thought-provoking mental activities.

The financial dimension considers financial health through the knowledge and skills of financial education, planning, and management.

The occupational dimension includes aspects of general occupational health by questioning your satisfaction in your job and career path.

The body category:

The physical dimension which is related to the physical health of your body includes education and awareness of nutrition, exercise, weight management, ergonomics, and disease prevention.

The environmental dimension includes the different areas that make up your environment and considers how, in general, an environment can impact human health, with the use of examples such as eco-friendly considerations, recycling, energy, and sustainable products.

The soul category:

The emotional dimension is concerned with the knowledge and skills that help you identify your personal feelings and the ability to handle those emotions.

The social dimension considers the understanding of the different types of social connections, relationships, and personal expression.

The spiritual dimension is about the search for purpose and meaning in life.
